What is the cost of therapy?
Fee generally ranges from $275 to $210 per 50-minute session, depending on the clinician and type of service provided. Please ask your specific therapist about their standard fee. Payment is due in full at the beginning of the session. We accept payments in cash, check, HSA, or credit card. Each clinician provides a portion of their services at a reduced fee for those in financial need. We are happy to discuss your situation and the availability of any reduced-fee services.
Do you take Insurance?
Currently DPCG does not accept payment from any health insurance. We are considered out-of-network for every health insurance provider. We are happy to provide you with a receipt of services which you can submit to your insurance agency. Reimbursement will depend on your out-of-network benefits.
DPCG does not submit claims on your behalf. each client is responsible for submitting out-of-network claims to their insurance if they choose to do so. DPCG does not guarantee any reimbursement. The only way to guarantee reimbursement is to use an in-network provider through your health insurance. We do accept payments from health savings accounts.
Is what we talk about in therapy confidential?
Yes, therapy is confidential.
What you share with your therapist is private and protected by law. Licensed therapists follow strict confidentiality guidelines and will not share your information without your written consent, except in limited situations required by Texas law, such as risk of harm, abuse, or court order.
Do you prescribe medication?
Therapists at Denver Psychotherapy and Counseling Group do not prescribe medication.
We provide therapy for mental health concerns and often work alongside psychiatrists or medical doctors. In some cases, combining therapy and medication leads to the best outcomes.
